Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference with wide individual variation. Adults may explore social, sensory, routine or focused-interest experiences, but an online self-check cannot diagnose or rule out autism.
A source-led overview

This overview links to its starting sources and distinguishes education from diagnosis.

The guide
Read before drawing conclusions.
A respectful starting point
Autistic people have varied strengths, needs and ways of communicating, relating, processing sensory information or approaching routines. No one trait, experience or online answer can explain an individual person.
People may seek information at different ages and for different reasons. It is appropriate to approach that exploration with curiosity and without treating a checklist as a conclusion.
The role and limits of an adult autism self-check
An educational self-check can help structure reflection and a discussion about whether a more comprehensive assessment may be useful. It is not a replacement for assessment, and it cannot diagnose or rule out autism.
Neuro Trait Test’s live adult autism self-check uses original platform wording, fixed scoring rules and an educational Match Scale. It is research-informed pre-pilot content, not a clinically validated diagnostic instrument.
Finding reliable information
Look for guidance that identifies its source, explains its limits and distinguishes self-checks from diagnosis. Be cautious of content that guarantees an answer, presents a score as certainty or makes claims about treatment, medication, employment or education decisions.
A qualified professional can help place individual experiences in context. This site is an educational starting point rather than a personalised clinical service.
